Dua is the essence of worship. At each stage of Umrah, your heart is closest to Allah. Learn these duas to make your pilgrimage spiritually transformative — but remember, you may also make dua in your own words, in any language.
Tawaf Duas
1. Before Ihram (Niyyah — Intention)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْعُمْرَةَ فَيَسِّرْهَا لِي وَتَقَبَّلْهَا مِنِّي
Allahumma inni ureedul umrata fa yassirha li wa taqabbalha minni
O Allah, I intend to perform Umrah, so make it easy for me and accept it from me.
2. Entering Ihram — Talbiyah
لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ
Labbaik Allahumma labbaik. Labbaik la shareeka laka labbaik. Innal hamda wan-ni'mata laka wal mulk. La shareeka lak.
Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise, grace and sovereignty belong to You. You have no partner.
3. First Sight of the Kaaba
اللَّهُمَّ زِدْ هَذَا الْبَيْتَ تَشْرِيفًا وَتَعْظِيمًا وَتَكْرِيمًا وَمَهَابَةً، وَزِدْ مَنْ شَرَّفَهُ وَكَرَّمَهُ مِمَّنْ حَجَّهُ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَهُ تَشْرِيفًا وَتَكْرِيمًا وَتَعْظِيمًا وَبِرًّا
Allahumma zid hadhal bayta tashreefan wa ta'zeeman wa takreeman wa mahabatan, wa zid man sharrafahu wa karramahu mimman hajjahu awi'tamarahu tashreefan wa takreeman wa ta'zeeman wa birran.
O Allah, increase this House in honour, magnificence, nobility and reverence. And increase those who honour and respect it — those who perform Hajj or Umrah — in honour, nobility and piety.
4. During Tawaf (General Remembrance)
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Subhanallahi wal hamdu lillahi wa la ilaha illallahu wallahu akbar.
Glory be to Allah, all praise is for Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.
5. Between the Yemeni Corner & Black Stone
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil akhirati hasanatan wa qina adhaban-nar.
Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. (Surah Al-Baqarah: 201)
Post-Tawaf Duas
6. At Maqam Ibrahim
وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى
Wattakhidhu min maqami Ibrahima musalla.
And take the Station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer. (Surah Al-Baqarah: 125). Then pray 2 rak'ahs behind Maqam Ibrahim if possible.
7. Drinking Zamzam Water
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا وَرِزْقًا وَاسِعًا وَشِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ
Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an wa rizqan wasi'an wa shifa'an min kulli daa'.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, abundant provision, and healing from every disease.
Sa'i Duas
8. At Safa (Start of Sa'i)
إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ
Innas-Safa wal Marwata min sha'a'irillah.
Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. (Surah Al-Baqarah: 158)
9. At Multazam (Between Black Stone & Kaaba Door)
اللَّهُمَّ يَا رَبَّ الْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ، أَعْتِقْ رِقَابَنَا وَرِقَابَ آبَائِنَا وَأُمَّهَاتِنَا وَأَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا مِنَ النَّارِ
Allahumma ya Rabbal baytil-'ateeq, a'tiq riqabana wa riqaba aabaa'ina wa ummahatina wa azwajina wa dhurriyyatina minan-nar.
O Allah, Lord of the Ancient House, free our necks and the necks of our fathers, mothers, spouses, and children from the Fire.
10. After Completing Umrah
اللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا عُمْرَتَنَا وَاجْعَلْهَا خَالِصَةً لِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ
Allahumma taqabbal minna umratana waj'alha khalisatan li wajhikal kareem.
O Allah, accept our Umrah from us and make it sincerely for Your Noble Countenance.
